At a price tag of more than $400m it better have some AA's - and they better be mighty good lol
Surely, we will at least get a Rocket…

I really don’t know where the money went. It’ll be fun but the price tag is unbelievable. At least when I ride RotR, I get the feeling “this must have been expensive.”

My sincere hope is that there are AAs and Disney merely didn’t want that information to come from this EW article.

I'm assuming there are indeed AAs, but they article was incorrect in how it stated them - they aren't in the large show building - so it got corrected. But Disney in discussing the ride with EW surely mentioned the presence of AAs which is how they got into the article in the first place. I can't imagine the author of the article just use those words without them being mentioned.

They already have build a Rocket AA and a Groot one would be a crowd pleasure so I'm kind of expecting that at least, whether in the pre show (which concept art seemed to suggest) or in the first part of the ride pre-launch.

I don't think the main ride in the show building needs to have AAs per se. I mean, if they had some at a point where the ride slows down/stops, great! But mostly, we'll be travelling too fast to get much value from them anyway. what they need is proper sets and video that integrates well with the ride. Given how Mission Breakout turned out, I'm optimistic about they putting in video along the ride path that is engaging and entertaining. With the controlled movement of the vehicles, it could actually be a quality unique experience.

Though yes the price tag seems crazy.

You'd think but they built a whole brand new land with only 2...I'm not getting my hopes up for any.
Sure, but I also don’t look at Pandora and wonder where the money went. It’s not like this ride has a jaw-dropping facade, so all that money was spent inside the buildings. It better not be flashing lights.

Of course, they’ve repainted the building 17 times. I assume they spent $100,000,000 at Home Depot on paint.

Apparently the Future World World Discovery/Celebration/Nature paint budget over the last 10 years ate the MK light parade budget. Chappie Claus only has so many gifts to give.
