They may say so, but it's largely out of ignorance.

Nicely framedJust found an old Pic i took around 1985-1986.
Not the best quality but just a Blast from the Past.

Anyone know what is up with the huge tents and the Porta Potty land to the left side? There are also multiple huge generators behind the tents for power.
1350 is the address of the UoE, but hey could be using the same address for both buildings.

LOL. What's next? The locusts???
I just love the backside of the Chinese Theater, too... Mickey Avenue they call it? So.... industrially beautiful.
Or that inspired concrete bridge-like thing in Tomorrowland at Disneyland that's been more or less vacant for 25 years? What was it? A A Rocket-what? So chic.
Of course, having the Contemporary Hotel loom over Liberty Square was a stroke of genius, too.
Well, it is a construction zone. Where there's construction there are porta potties. Tents could be mess tents for construction workers.
Thank You, but I cheated. It's 2 pictures, one of each side, I put together to make the one panoramic.Nicely framed
