Guardians of the Galaxy coming to Energy Pavilion at Epcot

Stupid guardians stupid galaxy. Where else am i going to see jamie lee curtis, alex trebic, ellen and bill nye in one place! I'm disappointed this is what they went with, but the building has been languishing for a while. In the main theater you csn hear the dinosaurs bleeding in, curtains don't work and some audio animatronics are missing. I inly hope the dinasours somehow get reused they are epcot opening classic figures.

How about using them at a dinosaur themed restaurant at AK? Might be too similar to T-Rex but AK needs more food options and it would be a cool way to draw people in. They could expand restaurantasaurus and add a few of the dinosaurs from the ride. I agree it would be good to keep at least a few around somewhere as a throw back to the original pavilion.

Or move them to Magic Kingdom for a Primeval World diorama.

Honestly, Aladdin being in Morocco bothers me way more than Frozen in Norway. Get him out of there and add UAE or Saudi Arabia to the Showcase if you want Aladdin to be in a correct area.

Or put him in China.

Oh yes. Most of the theatre is intact but a lot of the BOH tech is gone.

No disrespect taken think it's important to remember that the forums hold only a small percentage of Disney fans... The Disney Spirit is alive and well in the masses... Just look at the face of the children in the parks and tell me they don't believe it the magic and Disney Spirit.

On the whole, I agree that there's still a lot of "Disney Spirit" still in the parks currently. However, I and a lot of other fans feel that much of that is at risk. If GotG was an isolated incident of poor placement, the complaints would still be here, but there would be nowhere near as much talk as there is. The reason why talk is so big is because this is a quickly growing trend across Disney resorts around the globe. It may be a but negative, but I hope you understand the concern.

I agree. Last time there was a rumor that both UoE AND WoL were being razed and replaced at the same time it fell through very quickly.

I know that was in jest, but this is another part of the 50th effort, or so says Serpico. I will be interested to see if a new country indeed rises on the shores of World Showcase Lagoon. . .

IMHO they need to add more to the existing pavilions (ahem, how about a ride somewhere on the south to west side of the lagoon?) more than they need a new country added.

If they were going to add a Diorama to MK's RR, IMHO the best (i.e. otherwise most boring) area is the long stretch after Splash/Frontierland station and before the Fantasyland station.

PhotoDave dropping hints that Ghostrider themed Tron clone is actually going in Horizons!! He must not be part of the whole "no Marvel on East coast" deal.

Come to think of it, Ghost Rider probably would be in the clear to be used at WDW, actually. Don't really see him as a member of the "family" of anyone used by Uni. Though likely not the most family friendly option for a Disney park...
