Improving the onboard narration, in my opinion, would go a long way. When driving through the efficiency chamber, for example, why are ones and zeros passing over our heads?

I always thought if they could have somehow made it such that you drove in your designed car. Somehow do projection mapping or something else. I realize there are 6 designs, but maybe they could do majority rules sort of thing. I know of a few kids that designed their cars and looked forward to riding in their cars.

Why would you be looking for articles telling you not to trust scientists?

Looking for articles from other scientists with actual research and evidence that supports not trusting the previous scientists would be logical. Looking to random nutjobs is.. well, not intelligent or logical.
I agree, my comment was in jest.

Post on show the permits filed for UoE area.... Pretty large area. Obviously doenst mean the attraction will be that large, but I think it's pretty clear the UoE pavilion isn't getting some overlay and a fresh paint job.

This is for construction access, staging, and the area that would be altered. Including removing of woodland for the above plus moving a canal.

It's not for a building. That would come later. And will be nowhere near as big.

Pretty generous for them to call that a "woodlands". The hub is more forested.

If we get Guardians, I hope it looks nothing like the tower. Interior or exterior. The pictures released today look absolutely horrific. The most garish, cheap piece of crap I've ever seen in a Disney park. Six Flags worthy.

This!!! very concerned based on that, I pray they take a different direction here, otherwise what little faith I have left in Imagineering is done for......actually after riding spaceship earth today its pretty much gone anyway, its so bad now the black sheets are hanging from the ceiling and falling in.

It was surprisingly easy, I just had to regurgitate what I've seen plenty of times on the interwebs. And not anger, just disgust at the entitlement mentality that permeates within all walks of life these days.

And please, it's been stated ad naseum about how millennials want "experiences", not to mention most have the attention span of a gnat. Ask them what they did and it's all over multiple social media platforms. Ask them to describe what they saw and you get "uhhh... buildings...", or a blank stare. Disney is giving them "experiences", in 2-3 minute bites, because that's all that matters to them.

I totally agree - if TWDC hadn't neglected Epcot for a decade it would likely be in much better shape than it is. However, they didn't, and the current corporate mindset will likely take what little soul of the original is left.

I just realized how good I feel when I say "Epcot Center" and think back to everything it had to offer... It's sad that we'll likely never be able to have those feelings about the park ever again.

You continue to stereotype and blame one segment of the population in order to justify what a company did that upset you instead of recognizing that a better maintained Future World would be ridiculously popular with the "simple-minded" millennial. Since techonology is moving much faster than it was in the inception of EPCOT Center, Disney would need to keep up with the pace in order for some of the attractions that are in a pathetic state. Instead they took the opposite approach and updated Future World less frequently and now it looks like 1990s world. #ThanksShanghai #lol

If it winds up being GOTG as the replacement, can you imagine a giant DCA-style eyesore sitting in the middle of Epcot? Good grief, that would stick out like a giant hideous sore thumb.

Not the densest woods on property but I would still call it woodlands.

Most of that looks 2nd or 3rd generation with invasive species and a drainage culvert that has collected runoff from the parking lot for decades. Looking forward to them cleaning up that patch of scrub brush while adding proper water retention ponds.
