Two questions-
1. this may sound weird, but are there baking sheets in the 1BDR villas at Boardwalk?

2. are there grills accessible???

Thanks!

I bleive there is one cookie sheet in the 1 bedrooms at BWV, I used one when we were there 12/31/09=1/5/10; if not call housekeeping and they will bring you one.

As for grills, no there are none at BWV that I am aware of and we've been members there since 1999

Thanks....we had a studio last week and didn't see grills anywhere. Don't some of the resorts have grills or am I imagining that?

Just did a search for "grill" on the description of DVC villas over at allears.net. Based on that, which may not be 100% accurate, there are grills at Kidani Village, and Old Key West, which are first come, first serve. I can also speak from experience that there are first come first serve grills throughout Hilton Head. And each Treehouse Villa has its own grill.

Now that I think of it, there are some grills at BLT which we saw by the beach when we were there in Janaury. They may be avaialbe at the newer DVC resorts ie Kidani and BLT as members have asked for them, but they may be no room at the older DVC resorts.

The grills at Kidani are over by the basketball courts

All DVC resorts have outdoor BBQ grills. They're usually in one or more centralized locations.

I prefer rare to medium rare please. :slurp:

From allears:

There is a picnic area with tables and a grill down by the tennis courts on the Villa side of the complex.

I thought all DVC resorts did have grills. Not many, but should have some. :)

The grills are part of the resort, and not part of the room. To get to the grills at AKL, it was quite a hike from the main lobby. Maybe 1/10th of a mile. The walk from our room to the lobby was about 10 minutes, so be prepared to take a good walk if you're planning to use them.

Hubby was afraid it would be quite a hike to use grills at the resorts. I suppose we will scratch that idea!

Appreciate all the great info! The one I saw at Boardwalk was way over by the community hall and pretty dirty looking!

SSR also has grills, they are located near the quiet pools and near the Carousel, although with the construction on the new theme pool at the Paddock I;m not sure where those grills are now. While not at WDW, Vero Beach also has grills, which are located across US1 from the resort.

Hi..when we stayed at BCV last year the grills were directly below our balcony. They are close to the Villa's quiet pool...on the side by the hot tub. :)
