Grill marks? You think this is about grill marks?

This is about consistency in preparation of food at a Signature Dining Restaurant and not informing guests that that their meal may not be up to their linking.

You don't like or understand that?

Umm... yeah, cause unless I'm mistaken (and I don't know how to multi-quote) your original post was that your "good source" said that the steaks came out without grill marks on it. Forgive me for seeing this as totally inconsequential and a bit "1st world problem" - and for trying to make a satirical joke at something so frivolous.

Cause a steak without grill marks in Disney is better than a steak with grill marks in England, IMHO.

Save the money and go to Cosmic Rays. We ate at BoG twice and while the restaurant is beautiful, the food is below average. I was going to say the food sucks but not sure if I can say the words sucks?? Can i say sucks??

Yes, I'm a journalist by trade and I don't quote my sources directly when it comes to Disney. They generally require anonymity, and as long as Ive been posting rumors, I've had a pretty good batting average when it comes to these things.

But in this case it's a lady friend of mine whom deserves privacy.

Dad, I wasn't saying you should. I was commenting on the poor food at BOG. And everyone knows you should take your date to Casey's. Save the money and invest in a sense of humor.

Son.... how do i say this? I'm just not taking a date to Cosmic Rays.
Just be careful and know the person you are taking to WDW on a date. The majority of women out there strongly feel that any fixation of a male toward a Disney Theme park is a classic case of arrested development and would be much happier with a tray of Nacho's at a NASCAR track. :D Contrary to everything they say...women love outlaws. ;)

So THAT'S where I've been going wrong!

when we went in January, we didn't get grill marks on our medium and rare steaks.. they came out black and the consistency/taste of charcoal briquets (but somehow, were medium on the inside?). Grotesque..like someone threw them INSIDE a grill to char. We sent them back and complained. Things were taken care of, but none of us were impressed with the "chefs" at that restaurant, and most did not eat their dinners. I hope this is growing pains for a new restaurant, because it broke my heart..(desserts were good- though they could use a simpler cupcake for kids!)

Totally agree. The food is already over priced as it is.

We had a bad experience at our favorite Signature Restaurant a few weeks ago at Yactsman. I'm not sure whats going on with WDW. They don't mine overcharging and think nothing when their product isn't up to par.

I had a bad experience last month at Yachtsman too!

Looks like I am not going to try BOG. Cant even make pomme frites in a french restaurant designed by a French chef, really. They are not the same as french fries at Cosmic Rays if made right. They are creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
