We just made our final payment for our WDW vacation today. September 13, 2010 is looking better all the time. We are going out to celebrate with a fine meal at the California Pizza Kitchen. Does anybody else ever do this or some other type of celebration. Now the luggage tags come and the checklist begins. The DWF really starts the excitement about 15 days prior to leaving. I am looking forward to driving down and can't wait for all the goofy stops we make along the way. Then when I hit the Florida state line I know I am almost there. When I see WDW welcome signs the excitement and Ggantic smiles begins and once again I am transformed into a kid again, that Magic is priceless.

That's funny - we paid off our trip yesterday (leave Sept 12th) and my DH and I are having dinner at Papa Razzi tonight to celebrate. I am in a constant Disney state of mind and can't wait to get down there.

well...... this year is a little different for us. I just paid ours off, arrive on 9/6, we will be on a strict budget, times just got a little ruff unexpectedly... BUT...we are leaving for Disney in 38 days, ...... I hope :zipit:

I always consider that final payment to be the last "hurdle" before the trip. It makes it real some how. Have a great trip. We love going in September.

A wee bit off topic, but I made our final payment about two weeks ago, and was just thinking yesterday, "Hmmm, I wonder when the tags will come."
How long does it take? I don't remember from last year

Didn't know you could make payments for the Disney trip. But even with knowing this I still like making the arrangement with Disney and the same day paying them off so I have nothing to worry about.


I know last year we called on Oct. 16th for the trip and on Oct. 23rd we were on the plane for Disney lol. This year will be a bit better since I will be calling on or around Oct. 10th and leaving on Nov.6th. But this year will be more since the Dining Plan will be including I hope it's worth the money.

We made our final payment July 17th, and we just got our tags in the mail on Wednesday, July 28th.

....Everything is paid for....just trying to lock down reservations for lunch and dinner in the parks....shouldn't be a problem...since the trip is in December.....

Cool! Hope you have an awesome trip!

My last three trips were cancelled due to unexpected conditions.

When the airline seats have been paid for, that's when we celebrate...usually by going to the Disney Store and seeing if we can find something cool for our trip.(and by rubbing it to everyone there!)

Dang it...so now I have a craving for CPK.....
