Hey all, I was able to drive over to AK and Epcot today, the weather sucked for most of the time I was there but I tried to get as many photos as possible. Before I get to the photo's though here are some little things I noticed while walking around today. Forgive me if some of these aren't entirely new, but I've been in Michigan all summer and don't remember these being covered off hand.

-There was a crane visible over top of AKL, more than likely for the new DVC building, but I could be wrong.

-Yak and Yeti is coming along nicely, got lots of photos of that.

-The American Adventure has a new film at the end of the show during "Golden Dream". They now have footage of ground zero and United flight 93, as well as Tiger Woods with the Claret Jug, and a few other things I can't remember off hand, the music is slightly different as well.

-They are grilling hot dogs at the Dawa bar, no doubt to make up for the closing of Tusker House.

-There is some construction going on at the exit of ITTBAB, probably a waterfall or animal exibit.

-The Seagulls at The Seas are starting to rust a little and their mouths were stuck open today, I do have a pic of that for you.

-SSE looks great without the wand and crane, however you can clearly tell now how dirty it is.

-There are lots of walls up for F&WF prep, I have a picture of one of the structures going vertical.

Here is the area by ITTBAB with the vantage point looking towards the exits. Those two guys were I'm guessing imagineers scoping the area out, they had what looked to be like permits or plans.

Here is the new crane kind of tucked away, this was the only angle I could actually get a decent shot from.

Heres the new status board in FW West

You can see the rusting the best on the middle gull, and their mouths were stuck like that for the 2-3 minutes I was around them.

Here's some F&WF prep going on between WS and the Imagination Pavilion.

That's pretty much all I was able to get today, sorry for the wait on the pics, with that experience that's the last time I use webshots...

I thought I remember reading that somewhere, either here or on the posters on the construction wall.

I think it was originally but got pushed back a couple months...but I'm not really sure. I must say though this looks like it's moving along pretty fast. As compared to some other projects around the state of Florida, namely roads...

Great picks. What I find funny is that I just left on the 23rd after being there most of the week and it was hot and miserable with no clouds and I see that AFTER I left it was nice enough to rain. Gees! :ROFLOL:

ive seen the gulls work once, have not been their since so. And the wand does look beautiful, just a wonderful sight
