ponchos? I'm sure that ponchos are necessary in the parks when it rains but wouldn't you rather buy them at Disney instead of purchasing them before hand. The goody bag should be full of little toys and keepsakes and things to keep em busy on the plane. But ponchos, what will they do with those?

I just thought of another thing for your goody bags - shiny pennies for the penny pressing machines! Of course that means the adults will have to have a pocket full of quarters, too:lol:, but the kids will like collecting the pennies. I'm going to start going through my change and picking out the shiniest pennies in the pile. I figure 10 pennies apiece for both kids and one of my rolls of quarters will cover it.

I thought of something else. You could go onto Disney's site and order the personalized maps for each of them. I think it would have been pretty cool to get those maps when I was little.

uuhh....:lookaroun why would kids want mousekeeping envelopes (with tips, I'm assuming) in their goody bags?

(sorry if I'm missing something, I've read this post about 5 times and can only assume you posted in the wrong thread?)

I don't stick them in the goody bags, someone else had mentioned they bring them to decorate on the plane.. I prefer to fill them at home first and I print them at home too. Post right above that one.

While I don't think ponchos are exciting enough to go in a goody bag, I would NOT wait until getting to WDW to purchase them, unless you want to pay $8 a pop instead of getting them at the dollar store. They are small and compact enough to go into a suitcase without really taking up any room

Goody bags are a great idea! Scrapbooks are great~Give each person/child a notebook (here with back to school, they are on sale for as little as 10 cents each) and also include some Disney stickers. Add some crayons, markers and pencils and let them write in the book (their name, age, favorite Disney character) and color and decorate the book. Add a disposable camera and that will be their scrapbook to add pictures to, momentos (like cut out clippings from the park flyers), tickets, or whatever. Makes a real nice keepsake.
