There is a link on Screamscapes Epcot page that has a good article about Wonders of Life, complete with pictures and all if anyone is interested.

Victoria

Not old, just vintage.
That was a nice article and the pictures really brought back a ton of memories. I really wish I had been able to get to see it one more time before it evaporated off the map. :(

Very interesting article, thanks for sharing!

During my recent training over at Mission:Space, I was actually given the opportunity to walk through what's left of WOL. It's sad, but all the exhibits are deserted, and the Cranium Command signs are all down, assuming due to the Flower and Wine Festivel.

My trainer walked me through the show room of Cranium Command, and there was 'Buzzy' the controller of the attraction, sitting in his seat. The attraction seems to all be there, and believe it or not, but the controls were actually turned on for the attraction. Honestly, I hate to say it, but from the looks of it, I don't think this pavillion will be returning.

Along those lines, I had some of my training in part of the old Wonders VIP lounge--the part on the 1st floor of the building. There are some really nice murals of a carnival in there. While searching for a light switch, my trainer and I stumbled into a functioning Frontiers of Medicine exhibit. Everything was on and running, though the pavilion was closed (it was this past June).

Yeah it was still the same way. Everything was on and could of been accessed easily to start the show for Cranium Command. I think it's funny how you said 'searching for a light switch' cause we had the same problem. Another thing, the WOL building is just a tad creepy when it's pitch black in the pavillion, especially with the clown carnival feel to the VIP lounge, and training areas.

No problem. Glad you liked it. Sorry about the lazy comment.

I actually AM too lazy and would not have taken any offense to it if you left that comment to me. When I first saw this thread I was interested yet far too lazy to check out another site. I am quite glad that you came back and posted the link afterall! :sohappy:

Am I the only one who thought that the Wonders of Life pavilion looked dated from the time it opened? Not the attractions, but just the overall look and design of the pavilion. All of the other ones were (and still are) so futuristic, and the Wonders of Life just wasn't.
