Going in October, any deals coming?

I'm in the process of planning a trip to Disney World Oct 19-26 of this year. I usually go in the spring but thought I'd go and see Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot for a change. Currently being laid off though, I'm looking for some deals. I'm planning to stay at Coronado Springs and I see there is a 35% off your room but it ends October 3 I think. Is there any rumors as to other promotions to come or whether this promotion will be continued a few more weeks?

Also, I'm thinking of doing the Backstage Pass Tour? Has anyone done it and is it worth the price?

Not exactly sure a trip to WDW with an impending laif off is such a great plan:confused: But if your set on going why not stay at a value and skip the tour to keep the trip on the low end:shrug:

Its only a temporary layoff, and I'll be called back fulltime later this year, if we get the orders as expected, so I can afford a trip, especially since I have no other debt or expenses right now to worry about. Although I can afford a trip, I don't like paying top dollar and look for deals like the 35% off or the free dinning plan, so I can spend those savings on additional perks like the tour. What's wrong with that. That's why I asked if there are any upcoming deals or deal extensions I can tap into.

And for the record I don't like the value resorts. Too many little kids in the pool and you cant relax with that. That's why I like Coronado. It's more of a business atmosphere due to the convention centre (at least the times I've stayed there) and you can escape from the little kids and enjoy a quiet atmosphere around the quiet pools.

I don't know if you would be interested in staying at the Swan/Dolphin, but they were offering $149 a night in October. I am not sure if it covers the days that you plan on going, but it might be worth it to check. I have stayed at the Swan and we really liked it. Great location, in my opinion. Good luck and I hope you find a great deal.

No deals announced yet. Hopefully something will be announced by the end of the summer. It might just be a continuation of the room only discounts. There's lots of pin codes out there for certain dates in October through December, if you're lucky enough to get one. If you book with Kingdom Konsultants, we'll watch the deals for you and automatically switch you over if one comes out. Shoot me an email if I can help.:)
