Hey Kat

Not really so far. A little here and there but not too bad. This morning is the first time it's been really bad, but still no getting sick so far. :) Drinking ginger ale...they say ginger helps with that.
That's what I like to drink when I'm feeling sick. That or Seven-Up.

 Oh. Well :sohappy: for a scratchy voice then! How was it?

Oh! How awesome! :sohappy:

It was SO GOOD!

I have to give you all some background- we grew up listening to them my Dad LOVES the Eagles. So in 5th Grade they were going to come to Lexington and my brother and I were dying to go. My dad said that if he could save enough money we would all go (we didn't have a lot of money growing up so that was a huge deal to us). Well they couldn't get the money together and we couldn't go. We were so heartbroken.

So of course that's all I could think about last night and I started to cry during 'Hotel California' which was kind of in the begining of the show. I am such a girl!

Really it was AMAZING, I have seen a lot of concerts and that is one I will be telling my future kids about when I am older.

Steph, are you tired as well?
I'm always tired. But last week I felt extra exhausted when I got home from work. This week I seem to have more energy.
The one thing that has REALLY started to bother me the most is my heightened sense of smell. Seems like every smell is magnified 10 times. And I'm pretty sure NYC is one of the worst places to be with that problem. :hurl: I always feel queasy after walking around at lunchtime and don't even get me started on the subway. *gag* Hopefully that one passes soon.

Awwww! That's a sweet story, I don't blame you for crying! I'm so glad you were able to go :)

Morning, guys!

Steph, the exhaustion will continue until your second trimester, around 13 weeks or so. Trust me, it does get better!! But then by your 3rd trimester, you will feel huge and have all kinds of other not so fun stuff going on.

Soooo, Kat. You're asking Steph lots of questions.... Anything you want to tell us? :lookaroun

Hey Kristin!

Hmmm, 13 weeks. I think that should fall right in the middle of our honeymoons, so I'll get lots of rest on the beach in Cancun...with my v!rg!n margaritas. :king:

That is SO AWESOME! Who did you go with?

That's interesting! If you don't mind me asking, how do you feel about your caffeine intake? I've heard everything from limit it to two cups to don't have any at all. I cut back quite a bit last spring... but I don't know how I would function without at least a half-caf in the morning. :snore:

no one in the history of technology and phones has ever in the history of the world left longer or more boring voicemails/messages on machines (from the "older days") than my mother...

4:36 voicemail which legit said nothing... it said "hey joe, it's mom, just calling to check in, hope everything is going well, call me when you get a chance, love you, bye"

except that's 15 seconds... this was 4:36

i hate long voicemails... sorry for the vent...

That and giving up sushi were me 2 biggest concerns because I am SOOO incredibly addicted to both. Sushi I have given up...even though they say you can have the veggie kinds and California rolls since the crab is cooked, I would hate for it to get cross-contaminated. Not worth the risk.
As far as caffeine, my doc said I could have 2 cups a day. Again, don't really want to risk it. BUT I stop every morning for my papers and a coffee and the sweet, little lady always has it ready and waiting for me...not ready to spread the news that far yet so I've still been taking it and drinking about 1/4 of it (and it's a small cup to begin with) to keep warm while waiting for the bus. Then I pitch the rest.
Wait... there's two honeymoons?

Oh and the honeymoon, Kat, is our actually honeymoon. We'd decided to take it a bit after the wedding due to vacation days (this way we're able to use days off from both '08 & '09 and have a longer trip) and hurricane season. Our "minimoon" consisted of 2 days in the car w/ 1 night in Des Moines (woo hoo! :lookaroun) and 1 night in Chicago...with the dog.

It doesn't take much to get me started. Thanks, it was a good time. :)

How are you feeling today?
Oh I hear you there. I bet your Dad was super excited for you!

Feeling alright, just a bit queasy. The ginger-ale and Wheat Thins are helping a bit though :)

I believe that my own mother could quite possibly give your mom a run for her money on that one.
