Hi you two!

And yes...more human is good.

Yesterday when I went to the Dr, he took one look at my face, said, you're puffy and you've got it bad, and then gave me meds. It was great. (Well, he did an actual exam on me too, but I was so sick that he could tell immediately, just from looking at me.)

Hey Dawn! Yes, some of the bargains are great, though things have been picked over a little already. So while I'm sure the deals will get even better, I'm not sure what will be left.

I'm so frugal usually... but we really went all out last night. :hammer: People keep telling me, "It's your first real house, splurge a little bit." But then I think, "Oh my goodness, we just bought a house! :dazzle: We need to save even more!" ha ha ha...

Yea but you want to have nice new things in your nice new house. :sohappy:

morning...I'm starting to feel more human today...thank god for drugs!

*note...I am on antibiotics at the current moment...nothing else*

So glad u r feeling better 2 :sohappy:

Thanks Dawn...so sorry you're not. :(

Oh yea I feel much better today.

Well I just took my antibotic. Yeah :sohappy: I did not choke this time. These are the worst antibotics I have ever had. They are like taking a bottle of asprins dry. As soon as liquid hits them they start to dissolve like an alka seltzer. :hurl: I have choked 4 times on them. They taste sooo bad.

Do you brave the crowds that day?

Oh yeah, mom and I go every year usually at 7am though instead of 5am. We're strategic and plan on Thanksgiving (with the ads) where we want to go. We usually always hit up Kohls, Target and Garden Ridge.

That's good your dr visit wasn't too bad yesterday. My doctor is like that too, she knows I only come in when I am really really sick.

This was my first time visiting him. I wasn't thrilled with my other Dr...they'd have me come in, pay the co-pay, tell me to take something OTC and then make me leave. I felt like I was doing was paying them money to tell me that when I could do that for free. It left me with a very sour taste in my mouth. So, I was glad to have a Dr. just look at me for a second and know something was wrong. I was very pleased.

I was thinking about possibly going this year. Depends on the deals. I just had a feeling there might be some really great ones with the economy the way it is.

Oh that would make me mad too. But I am glad that you found someone better.

I love my Primary Care, she has been my doctor since High School and is so great. I hope she's still covered under our new insurance.

I know me too, I can't wait! If they put that Purple IPod Nano on a good sale, Best Buy better watch out! I will be there at 5 am! LOL

OMG! Let me tell you. Nothing is more frustrating then you going to the Dr., paying them all the money only for them to tell you there's basically nothing they can do...just take some OTC stuff. It would be one thing if I went in there all the time and such, but I only go to the Dr. when sick too. It frustated me to no end just to be told, go home, with little direction on anything else. Nothing is more frustrating then thinking all they were doing was just taking my money and running.

You know, I've never been to a black Fri sale...I 1. usually have to work the next morning and 2. don't get up that early unless a plane is involved.

Its an experience. The only place we stay as far away as possible is WalMart. Oh it's an experience I usually sleep in my clothes roll out of bed and put on a cap. It's not pretty, but it's tradition.

so i'm debating moving to ireland for a few years to get my mba...

Cool! When did you start thinking about that?
