I'm waiting till after the holidays. I go home in a week and a half and I just want a break. I don't want to think about things right now. So I'm just relaxing and enjoying Disney and Christmas.
I totally think that's a good idea.

Hey Kat!

What time is DH's surgery tomorrow?
We have to be there at 6:30 and he's scheduled for 7:30. They told us it should take about an hour. :o

The last week has made me realize how much I truly love it here. Being so busy working all the time before, I kinda starting taking things for granted. But being here and living this life is a dream and it's been wonderful. I can't imagine and don't ever want to go back to the life I had before, one without Disney. It's so special to me. What I do is so special. The people I get to see and know are so special. Disney is my life and I want to keep it that way. I want to stay here forever.

by the way...

maybe someone else has heard it and can help me out...

I heard a cover of a fleetwood mac song when I was out this past weekend... it was almost like DJ Sammy's version of Heaven by Bryan McAdams where it was like... a dance/techno version of it... but it was PHENOMENAL...

but i cannot for the life of me remember which fleetwood mac song it was, and cannot find it online...

anyone any idea what i'm talking about???

How long will his convalescence take? I'm assuming he'll have to have some PT too?
Depends, I'm told. If they can repair the meniscus (they know they'll most likely be able to repair the MCL and PCL) DH was told about a month recovery time. Not exactly sure what that month would entail or when he'd at least start to be able to drive again (I'm driving him everywhere now). If they cannot repair the meniscus, they will have to take it out but he'd be able to walk later that day. If they do have to take it out, the recovery for that is only 2 weeks. But he will then need a total knee replacement within 20 years. So... we're hoping they can repair it and we'll deal with the longer recovery now. DH is only 26. I don't want him to have to have a knee replacement when he's only 46!

:dazzle:

I hope they can repair things too. Knee replacements aren't fun - I see it in my future also.
