Giving Thanks for Magic Friends

Oh wow! I wonder how they did that....?
Well, after closing costs and all that jazz we'll end up with our new mortgage paid up until like February anyways. So that, in a sense, gives us a few "free" months. And by that time hopefully we'll be pretty close to getting the $7500 tax credit or whatever for new homebuyers. We would have liked to spend that on some new furnishings... but we may end up using it on the payments. So... as I said... it'll work out one way or another.

When we were at the current house for the inspection last weekend, we saw not one but two complete rainbows in the sky. I don't think I've ever seen one entire one let alone two on top of eah other. It was awesome. And... it gave us comfort. I don't know if any of you are familiar with the Biblical meaning behind a rainbow... but it said to us that everything is going to be okay.

Thats great! Hopefully everything will work itself out!

I am so happy that we didn't buy a house when we came here. DH insisted that he was sick of renting and wanted to buy. I kep saying that the prices were so high for the size and condition of the houses and we were only going to be here for 3 years. I can't imagine tyring to sell a house here right now. There is no way we would get what we would have paid for it.

Definitely smart thinking then!

We'll get at least what we paid for the current house. "Starter homes" have been selling better than more expensive homes. And the real estate market here in Tennessee isn't as bad as it is other places. But the deal we got on the brand new house... we just couldn't believe it. Our real estate agent said he's never seen such a deal on a new construction. :)

Hi Dawn! I know I love it, I got a Minnie HM Bride one and a Huey Louie and Dewey HM band one on it's way. I have to stay away from the pins on ebay :lookaroun.

I haven't started, except for a book I bought my mom at BN about a month ago.
