People always feel good by giving things to people whether they are down on their luck, down on their pay, or just down. I say, this Thanksgiving on the boards, we give people Reputation Points, as a gift to let them know they have friends all over the world.

It's a nice idea, but the repuation system is designed to reward people for providing useful information the forum community. Random assignment of reputation points would have the effect of diluting the meaning of the points system.

If you would like to give someone a message, how about sending them a Private Message instead, or making a post in Chit Chat.

Oh my gosh! I know what that refers to! I think I've watched G4TechTV just a few too many times. Actually, right now the guys across the hall have "Roses are red / Violets are Blue / All of our bases / Are belong to you" on their board. Gotta love bad translations of old video games.
