Not a meme but on this particular topic.
The other day I'm on the "E" train going to midtown NYC. And even by subway standards, it was pretty rank. I look across the train at an attractive woman covering her mouth with her scarf, and I could empathize. But then I looked at her scarf and I busted out laughing, at her, I couldn't help it. The scarf was covered with the "pirate" skull and crossbones insignia. She looked at me like I was crazy laughing at her and said "What?" I gestured towards her scarf and just went "Skull and crossbones!" She looked at her scarf and asked "So?" And I replied "Pirates aren't exactly known for their hygiene." Everyone around me had a pretty good laugh. Except her.
