Just for the sake of argument...Mickey was not exactly the cute little loveable mouse that we think about when he started out. He was devious, sometimes mean and prone to laughing at others misfortune. In short he was kinda dark as a character. Not the saintly little mouse from the Mickey Mouse Club.

To be really honest here...he kinda did look like that. This was before they fleshed him out a bit. He was still pretty close to being a stick figure.
