Girly question: what to wear?

If you like sporty type dresses, I highly recommend PrAna dresses. I have a few dresses from them, specifically the Amaya and the Quinn. I have had mine for years and they are not faded nor pilled. They are very comfortable in hot weather and they have a shelf bra.

I do wear flats and in the parks and I wear the Adina from Crocs. They are like sandals, but they have the shape of a flat.

I have a photo of me wearing them here:

Cute! Thanks... I'll be sure to check them out :)

I always go with shorts & tees, or a cute sundress! I have a few pairs of flip flops that don't usually cause me any grief. Plus, with DD being a toddler, we're always back at the room for mid day breaks. I think if I was in the park from sun up to sun down, I'd be sticking with tennis shoes.

Also, I wanted to add that DH & I LOVE hiking in Gatlinburg! That's one of our other favorite places to go. I really want to go in the fall and see the leaves one year. Such a beautiful place!

Yeah I can see me getting into lots of trouble on that website ;) I ended up ordering both of those but in two different sizes so I can see what size I need for them from here on out. Lots of cute stuff on there! Now I'm excited lol.

I wear tees and skirts or dresses - I bought a pair of the nike dry (moisture wicking) athletic shorts to wear underneath to keep things undercover when getting on and off rides and incase of a wind gust.

They have a 2.5" inseam so they're short enough to wear under everything, and they're a great form fitting stretch material. Highly recommended!

It sounds like I'm not of much help b/c all I wear are Nike and Under Armour shorts and tank tops. However, I did actually wear a couple of skorts last year. But, I probably won't again. I'll probably just stick to shorts. They're just too comfortable and so quick to dry. I've given up on trying to look cute at WDW! It's a losing battle for me with the heat and humidity anyway!! Good luck! :)

Those dresses are cute and will be so comfortable! I wear shorts, tanks and sun dresses. I prefer sport bras for Disney also...I sweat a lot:( and they helped with that. I have a couple pairs of crocs that I wear. I feel like I pack more for Disney than any other vacation. I like to have lots of shirts to choose from.

I've started to become a devotee of wearing golfing clothes (skorts/bermudas and sleeveless tops) to WDW. The link below shows some examples. They tend to look slightly more structured, "formal" and fashionable (while still pairing well with sneakers), and are also long-wearing, moisture-wicking and wrinkle-resistant. Since they're meant to be worn outdoors in the heat, they also generally are made from fabrics that won't show sweat. I don't wear a sports bra, but something similar: a tank style "Genie" bra that is lightweight and supportive despite not having an underwire.

On my feet, I go with running shoes with moisture-wicking socks for our hectic morning rope drop arrivals, and hiking sandals or Crocs (cute Crocs sandals, not the chunky clog-style shoe) for our more relaxed evening itineraries. Changing footwear at least once a day has helped me avoid blisters (so far)! :)

Also, I swear by the idea of packing just one outfit per day, using clothes that all follow a general color scheme so they're mix-and-match. I can pair the same couple of accessories (like a colorful crossbody bag and big vintage sunglasses) with every outfit, and I don't end up overpacking. Since I do all the packing for our 2 kids, I also pack the same shirt colors for them as I'm packing for myself -- we wear them on the same days and it makes them easy to spot if they start to wander off. Not everybody wants to be "that matchy family," though... ;)

You know, I had a golf skort at one point... I happened to get it at Goodwill while I was losing weight (I was losing very rapidly and couldn't afford to keep paying retail prices on things I could only wear for three weeks or so before they were too big LOL). Unfortunately it's too big so I had to pass it on to someone else. I had forgotten how much I liked that skort, though... maybe I'll start looking for stuff like that again. Good idea! Thanks :)

Wow is the estrogen thick here. Just a thought from an alternative perspective, yoga pants.

P.S. I can feel you scowling at your monitor.

Hahaha! Actually you just made me laugh :)

If I was going in the winter months, yoga pants might work... although I may still bring a pair or two in case I decide to go for a morning run ;)

I have at least ten dresses from Athleta and they are the best for WDW, money well spent. They are well made and very easy to care for, no wrinkles and always look nice. So comfortble, and most have built in bra so no need to wear one. I usually check the website at the end of the year and buy some for the next year when they are on sale. Highly recommeded. I have also bought dresses from a website "Title Nine" and I love them too.
