Girls trip!

Can five girls really share one bathroom/shower?

I think you'd be happier with adjoining rooms, though they aren't guaranteed.

I understand why you think we wouldn't be able to but trust me - we can. Between us being very low maintenance and alternating 5 minute showers in the morning and evening, we'll be fine!

I would agree with what was suggested above, two connecting rooms at a value or a suite at art or animation.

Last May we did a similar trip (4 females, all in our mid 20s) and stayed at all star music. We made it work but it was tight. There was barely enough space for all our luggage and the showering/getting ready was a hassle.

If you are looking for a cheaper hotel, I would suggest booking through Undercover Tourist. You need to pay in full but we ended up saving over $200 on our room for June 2016.

Girls trip for a group of early 20s? Forget Disney World, hit Vegas!

We love partying as much as the next person, but we just feel that spending that much money to get drunk in a club can be done anywhere. We're definitely planning on sipping some cocktails at Disney but decided to go there because a couple of us haven't been and we know its going to be an amazing trip!

Thanks a lot :) I didn't know about Undercover Tourist but I will look into it for sure.

I thought that Disney just wouldn't allow it whatsoever but if there are additional fees, I will look into them and figure out what option is best for us!
It's a little bit of both.

Four adults: Allowed, but extra fees for Adult 3 and Adult 4
Five adults: Allowed, but extra fees for Adult 3, Adult 4, and Adult 5; or Not allowed at all (depending on resort)

Any idea if either of the Port Orleans resorts allow a fifth adult?

When I was planning my girls trip, we were supposed to have 5. I think we were leaning toward Art of Animation suites, but since we dropped to 4, we just did a regular room. I think the AoA suites look amazing and split between 5 people, the cost isn't terrible! Once you add the additional fees for more adults to a regular room, I guess it's not as much of a difference.

Rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of Port Orleans Riverside do have the "child size" pull down bed, and should allow five. Not sure if the fifth person has to be a child or not. BTW, if you have not checked out www.portorleans.org, it is a great unofficial site for all things Port Orleans.

I didn't know about that website! Thanks for the tip!

To be honest, it looks like we may be dropping to four as well. As much as I would really love for all of us to go, it IS slightly easier to plan for four!!

Hello - For five years straight, I used to vacation in January and it was less crowded and the rooms were more affordable. With that said and this being a girl trip, I would choose Boardwalk, Yatch or Beach Club. This way you ladies can drink around the world (EPCOT) and walk back to your room. Believe me that if you are feeling good, you do not want to wait for the bus to take you back to a resort. (It can be a good hour waiting in line for the bus then the time to travel back.) After partaking in a few adult beverages and feeling like tinkerbell, all I wanted to do is lay down. LOL.

Our one reservation about going in January or February is the weather... we're looking forward to a hot vacation and though we are Canadian and might not feel it as much, I want it to be warm!! Plus I love the water rides at both WDW and Universal. How did you find the weather down there?

That's a great idea. Those resorts are a bit out of our price range I think but we'll definitely look into them :) it'd be nice to be able to walk back!!
