Girls Night Out Help

My mom has offered to babysit the kids twice so me and my best friend can get out and have some harmless grown up fun. I'm thinking of spending one night in WS but am coming up broke for the second night. Should we stick to a park, go to DTD (not crazy about that), or head to the Boardwalk for ESPN/JellyRolls. BTW, we will not have a car and will be relying on Disney transportation. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks

I think one night at WS and one at Boardwalk sounds great! The street performers around Boardwalk are a lot of fun to watch on a nice night.

Depends what you call and night, and when.

Remember, if you are wandering around the WS (which is allways a great thing to do) your night is going to end at roughly 9:30 when I:RoE is over.

If that's night to you, then thats cool. To some people, staying out at night means later.

Boardwalk can be a lot of fun to hang out at night. There are the street performers, some of whom are very good, and there is the ESPN club, Atlantic Dance Hall, and Jellyrolls.

DTD is much less of an option now that PI is gone. :(

You could also check out if some parks have EMH that night, and take advantage of that.

One thing that I enjoy doing when I don't have my kids with me is to take the various tours that they are too young for. Of course those are normaly in the AM. Maybe you want to look at that. One night mom babysits while you and your friend hit the WS and then take a walk over to the Boardwalk. Then another day, mom watches the kids for 3 hours or so in the AM while you and your friend tool around on a Segway or some such "adventure". Of course thats if mom is open to the suggestion.

My sister and I spent a great night at Jellyrolls a couple years ago and it was alot of fun. If anyone ever offered to take my kids for a night I would absolutely go hang around the "world." For a second night I'd love to do some shopping at the Marketplace without the kids. JMO

Thanks all!

It will be an EMH night when we go :)

While I love taking the tours, my friend is a first timer, so I don't think the tours would be up her alley at this point. And there is no way we would leave 3 kids under the age of 7 with my mom for the morning, when they're raring to go-go-go. Evenings are better for us ... the kids will be tuckered out and my mom can have a semi-quiet, relaxing evening

Jellyrolls is pretty much what I had in mind. The last couple of times I stuck my head in at Atlantic, it was dead as a doornail. DTD is probably our last resort.
