Gilbert Gottfried at the Parks

As a tribute to Gilbert.... I wanted to mention his role as Iago, which was either loved or hated by park fans in the “Under New Management” at Enchanted Tiki Room.

I, for one, did not grow up with the original Tiki Room show. So, believe it or not, UNM will always have a special place in my heart. My dad loved it, and I loved it. We enjoyed its time. But whether you enjoyed it or not, I’d love to just take some time to appreciate the effort he put into his character.

On another note, you can also appreciate a very small cameo of Iago in Mickey’s Philharmagic.

His Tower of Terror segment on WDW Inside Out was funny..

Sadly, another great entertainer has left us. He started mastering his craft at a very early age and took it to great heights. The distinct voice and comedic delivery will continue to stand out, deserving to be remembered forever.

Loved him in Beverly Hills Cop 2. It was a small, but very memorable part. He'll be missed....
"Ouch! Let go of my arm. $200? Ouch! Please, I'm robbing you."

He is the only celebrity I have ever seen at the parks. He was the grand marshall of the Jammin' Jungle parade at Animal Kingdom and we then saw him later in the park.
