That's my guess.
Imagine the Stitch AA from SGE (which is on some sort of turntable/rotating device that allows him to "walk" in a full circle), but mounted onto a sliding track.
So between the platform sliding in and out on the track, and the turntable rotating, Luxo could be placed in any location within the range of the platform.
Just my guess, though.

I'm a sucker for non-attraction related AAs. It adds a sense of authenticity, like I'm not just in a theme park but a living fantasy world. Sonny Eclipse, the seagulls at The Seas, the talking trash can in FWW... I just can't get enough. I'm really hoping this rumor comes to fruition. The evidence definitely seems legitimate.

I think this would be an amazing addition to pixar place especially if it can move and shine its light on people, but this thing hoping away i dont see that happening. Have their been any developments on this recently
