I'm just curious, on the aerial shots of Magic Kingdom, what is that giant building behind 20KLUTS???

I've looked at all these aerial photos so many times before and it never ceases to amaze me how Disney manages to make this gigantic buildings look so tiny. The Land Pavillion is unbelievable.

My guess is the 20K show building.

If you are refering to the building that connects to the lagoon, then that IS the main ride building of 20K where everthing was housed that you saw after the submarine went to the depths.

I did one (well two actually, one for me, and one for a Christmas present to a fellow obsessive) of these last August. I got the full resort map off #Disney-Central (140MB GIF), then took it to the printers at my University and got them to do it to glossy A0 paper (46" x 33").

Cost me £10 per copy, but was well worth it.

Photo of it here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=16400

Do you mean you took the file to a print shop and they printed out color copies for you on poster size (or bigger) paper?? That would look alot better than cutting and taping, although mine came out fairly good if you overlook the fact that my printer ran low on yellow towards the end!!!!

I have a different file to the ones above. It is only grayscale (but to me, it doesn't matter that much). I took it to the people with industrial size printers, and they did me a copy (all one sheet) the biggest they could which is A0 size about (3' x 4')

The actual file-size is 12000 pixels by 10000 pixels, so it comes out OK when blown up that big.

No way! See I barely remember that ride. I went to Disneyworld almost every year growing up, but that ride was always skipped on our trips, so I probably only went on it 2-3 times, probably 15-20 years ago. But I didn't know it went inside a building.

There was a point on the ride where the submarine headed to the dark depths of the sea, bubbles floated past the window and things became dark as you supposedly went deeper, but in reality were just entering the building. The reverse happened as the sub came closer to the surface - lots of bubbles and increasing light as you exited the building and came back outside. :)

I can't begin to tell you how freaky it is to see photos of other people's aerial posters hanging on their walls, when I have that exact same thing sitting in my closet, especially considering I had no idea this thread even existed. It's freaking me out, what a weird coincidence.
you think that's freaky? seeing Nicholas's print up on the wall and knowing that i wrote the script to rip and reorder the images is kinda freaky

I'm excited because now I can finish the project in my closet!! Actually I'll probably just throw that thing away and make a new one. This is so great.
