GF key?

I believe someone said you could ask politely behind the GF check in counter for the old keys used to open the doors of the rooms? It would have to be from a well seasoned CM if I'm correct?

Since all of the doors in Disney resorts have been changed over to RFID, I don't see how the old keys can work. We did not have a slot to place a card in. Just the RFID sensor. Just curious, why would you want one?

Like old old old, pre key card. As in put it in the keyhole and turn it to open the room. I believe they were logoed from GF, and some people want to have one as a memento.

OP: I have no idea if they still have any, but I'd wager they must be pretty close to running out if not already there.

I have one. They give them to CMs when they start to work there. I got one as i was an ICP CM and its now one of my most treasured possessions .

Yes this is true. I have received two. My DH and I asked when we were staying for our honeymoon and my mom and I asked when we were having a girls trip - and her first time staying on property. I don't ask every trip. Only something exceptionally special. I can't speak to if they were well seasoned or not, but both cast members gave them to us with out any question.

They don't work. Its only for a memento. A little piece of the GF to take home with you.
