Getting your name on ears

Hey,
I just got back form NYC on Sunday. We went to the World Of Disney store and LOVED IT!!!! I saw that they had ears there and i had to get some(my first pair since i was 2) and I was excited!! They didnt embroider them with my name but do you think i can get my name on them when i go 2 WDW in June and if so, should i?

Take your ears to the x-mas store in DTD disney they can do it there. I know places in MK can do it too for about $3, I'm just not sure where. Since these are you first pair since you were 2, I'd say go ahead and get your name on them, I don't see why not.

There is a location to have the hats embroidered at Downtown Disney, but it is also available in Magic Kingdom and MGM. They all charge $2 as of pretty recently(it used to be free at MK). The Magic Kingdom location is in Fantasyland.:wave:

I bought myself my very first pair of Mickey ears last year. Gold ones with my name on it. I have an uncommon name so I very, very rarely get things with my name on it. It has to be customized. So it's super fun to have the ears. I have My Pal Mickey wearing them on my computer desk at the moment.

Oh okay, thanks for correcting me. :wave: Sorry for the misinformation. I didn't even think about this, but I was a CP when I got my hats embroidered in 2004 so that's probably why I got them done for free. :hammer:

I have a question about this.
I got my gold mickey ears (first pair ever) back in November. When we picked them up, we totally forgot that you could get you're name on them. We remembered the next day and we were at Epcot. We asked to see where we could get our name on it and they said the only park you could do that was at the MK. So, that was Ok because we were going to be at the MK once more before our trip was over.

So then we're there the last day, and we go to the place to get my name on it, and they say that you have to have the receipt to be able to do that.

And we don't keep track of every little $10 receipt when we're there, so we didn't have it.

So my question...
Would there be a way I could get my name on it when we go back this November??

Every time i go to WDW i plan on buying a pair of ears or a chacter hat, but always leave with out doing so. I will definately purchase one on my next visit in Sept...

I have two WDWCP graduation pairs. The first one, I got "Robyn" on them. The second, because of my role, I asked to have "Minnie" put on them. They actually agreed! But they understood when I explained why.

It was free - through sometime last year. It was sometime in the Fall I believe that they quietly changed from free to fee. I bought mine earlier in the year (2005) and didn't have to pay the upcharge for the name. I also bought a friend a pair back in 2004 and there was no fee then.

Sadly, that's changed now.
