Getting from WDW to that other theme park

I was wondering if anybody knows the cheapest way to get from a WDW resort (I'll be staying at the Pop Century) to Universal Studios? We are going on a vacation in May and we are planning to go to Universal for 2 days alogn with our Disney experience. How much does a taxi roughly cost from Pop to US? Thanks for any help ahead of time.

I believe you can pick up the Lynx at the TTC! Very inexpensive way to get around to the 'other' area attractions.

Lynx?? - could you elaborate? Where do you get the schedule? Or do you have to make a reservation?

You can get a Taxi from WDW to universal, but it will cost around $30.00 for a one way trip.

You can also use Mears. I think they still do this. The price is around $20-$25 round trip. Check out their website.

Or rent a car from Alamo or National which is located right on property at the Disney Car Care Center which might be a cheaper option. They will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the car care center to get the car. Also because the CCC closes early make the car return for the Dolphin hotel which you can drop it off with the valet at any time (at no additional cost) and then take the bus from the hotel to DTD to transfer to your hotel.

We used Quicksilver. $70 roundtrip for the four of us. Very efficient.
