I like Frozen. But I also have zero children, so I get to control how many times I have to actually watch the movie ;). (Which has been like four times since it came out, by the way).

Do NOT love that they are replacing Maelstrom. That's just silly. :arghh: It was top 5 for me.

BUT the number of things I LOVE at Disney World FAR exceeds the number of things that annoy me, so I will happily continue drinking that Kool-Aid. :p

I thought Frozen was a good movie, not a great one. It is hard to argue the fact that it has captured people's imagination and has created a demand for Frozen themed activities at WDW. I don't have a problem with Disney trying to meet that demand, that's good business on their part.

I like the idea of a Frozen themed ride, just not in the World Showcase. Maelstrom was outdated, but I would have liked to seen it updated instead of replaced. I also don't like the idea of Elsa freezing the castle, not hers to freeze. HS is not a great park for young kids, so the Frozen takeover there is understandable. HS is in need of an upgrade instead of all the temporary attractions that pop up there and then leave. (American Idol, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, etc.)

The Frozen takeover is temporary, once the demand goes down the supply will adjust accordingly.

Girls, mostly. Now, though, you've got RDJ and Tom Hiddleston and Chris Pratt making them swoon.

People today are spoiled! They don't know what it's like to get talked by your friends into seeing Spawn in theaters and then asking yourself "What the **** was that?!?"

LOL I saw that one too in the theater. Heck I wrote McFarland a letter once (mid 90s) telling him how much I liked his Spiderman stuff, he wrote me back. Pretty cool :)

I think it is an extremely flawed movie, with more plot holes than I can count. And the characterization is totally thin. A lame villian, an annoying princess, and an ALMOST amazing second princess. It all seemed like it took place in one day. They really didn't play up the urgency of the situation. It seemed very...blah. But Olaf is a fantastic Disney character, I''ll give it that. I think I'm so critical of the movie because I was told "WOW it's the best Disney movie ever" to "it's the best movie since The Lion King.". Just absolutely not true. Aladdin, Mulan, Hunchback, and most importantly Princess and the Frog are incredibly well made movies. Both visually and structurally. And they all are better than Frozen.

Manly men don't read comics, they wrestle crocodiles over that 600 pound piece of Wildebeest steak, preferably still breathing.

I hate any computer animation which tries to portray realistic people.
Just look at the main characters in the film....they look like plastic dolls.

Computer animation on the other hand with a different subject can look fab....think Toy Story, Cars etc, just don't try to portray humans.
