Whatever happens after this, I just hope Jared Bush tries to help bring back 2D/hand-drawn animation for long-form projects at Walt Disney Animation Studios like the #Tiana series (or at least it make look like #Paperman but in color) or any future project & I hope he doesn’t have any skeletons in his closet like John Lasseter.

A great loss for this child of the 80’s

Thanks to a tip I got from a friend, it seems that Walt Disney Animation Studios is hiring interns for animation on cleanup work on 2D animated projects yet to come, which is usually done for feature films.

So, perhaps this is a sign that potential plans are in motion to turn WDAS’ Disney+ #Tiana series (w/ a Paperman-animation style) into a fully 2D/hand-drawn animated and theatrical sequel to #ThePrincessAndTheFrog, even if we may not see it in theaters until Holiday 2029 to give the production more time to get every still-living hand-drawn animator back at WDAS to join the veterans and new hand-drawn animators still there and not overwork (or rush them) to make it get out there by a specific deadline.

And now the truth is clear that the success of #Moana2 and/or a potential nomination and/or win of either or both #TheLordOfTheRingsTheWarOfTheRohirrim and/or #TheDayTheEarthBlewUp: #ALooneyTunesMovie will be what puts on the path to bringing back hand-drawn animated long-form projects into being worked on at Disney.
