Gaston push up challenge...

What a fun little video. When we go next month, I gotta make sure to not challenge him, much to my DD chagrin.

It's just nice to see the CM's doing stuff like this...
Would've been so easy for him to make an excuse or reason not to do it but obviously knew he was in good enough shape to hand out a lesson!
Could of been embarrassing if he couldn't do any!

I laughed my butt off when I saw that video. The guy in the Ironman T-shirt was talking a big game and then he got schooled by Gaston. I wish I was there when that happened, I would've highfived Gaston for putting the "Ironman dude" in his place. LOL!

I concur, however, I have never seen a dude with that physique in Ironman competitions. Most, but not always, people with that muscle, are not known for doing hardcore cardio. I'm the opposite, I can bike and run, but I am good for about 40 pushups and then I'm done. I still give that CM huge props for the one armed push ups as well as being a great sport. That CM could probably bench me.

I wouldn't read too much into the Ironman shirt. Maybe he's just a fan of the sport? Maybe he did one before and has since changed his fitness routine? Maybe he got Ironman the race confused with Iron Man the fitness magazine? Or maybe he's just tired from walking around a theme park all week and having his brain fried while waiting in line for BOG? ;)

Regardless, it's good that the CM went above a beyond to do a great performance. :)

That is the same guy that was Gaston during our trip in September. The video doesn't do him justice for the way he plays the part. I made sure to give him ultimate compliments when I emailed Disney Guests Relations.

What was really funny was when I first saw this on College Humor's Facebook page, all of the roid heads and gym rats were talking about Gaston's push ups not being complete. While I agree with that I had to remind them that A) he's a villain, so he's allowed to cheat and B) this is Disney World, not the Olympics. Either way, his one handers were impressive. @EOD K9 I'm with you, I hate push ups and I am not good at them. In our PT tests I would usually do about 10-14 more than what was required for my age bracket and call it a day. The brown rounds used to give me guff about it but I was a champ at sit ups.

At first I thought... now are those muscles mostly padding in the shirt? Guess he fooled me. Now lets see how he matches up against the Beast... But I'm no fool, forget the push ups... I could probably best him in a hot dog eating contest :p

Of course the guy was wearing his Ironman triathlon M-Dot t-shirt...

Maybe the front of it said "volunteer" :)

While some of the people playing the Gaston character have to wear the "muscle padding", some do not. When we saw BatB Live in DHS, the guy playing Gaston was jacked! When I say jacked, I mean jacked....like The Rock jacked.

You can definitely tell a difference so the guest in the video probably should have looked and saw that while there may some costume padding, this guy was in damn good shape.

I saw him as well!
