He kind of bounces around from the Main Street Camera Expo to the Movie Theatre (or what remains of it) to the pin cart to the watch store.

Heath Ledger looks pretty great for the Joker. I like how he looks, but now I really want to see him perform and see how crazy he is with the costume and make up.

I wonder if they will ever add Robin to the series?

It snowed here in NJ today, not too bad, about an inch or so, and it is 24 degrees. So, after shoveling the side walk and clearing off my car, I went to a comic shop and looked around the dollar bins. Found a few things to give to some friends as Christmas presents, so not a bad haul!
I've probally seen him and didn't know it. I work on Main Street sometimes but I could technically be anywhere in the park.

I don't think they will Robin to the series for a long time cause Batman doesn't get a Robin till he's been the Bat for quite a few more years right?

I worked today tis all :).

How was work today? Was the park busy? I'm sure the weather was a lot warmer than up here!

Not sure if you caught Tin Man or not, but it was pretty bad. An unnecessary adapation of a great story. A few cool things but otherwise not worth watching. I'm not sure if I will catch the other two halfs now or not.

If you did see it, let me know what you think.

Park was pretty busy because extra magic hours are tonight. Was warm, humid and rained around 4:30 for a bit.

I didn't catch Tin Man but thanks for letting me know. I won't bother with it unless I have nothing else to watch.

What did you like, didn't you like about it?

Things I liked about Tin Man: The name itself has a nice ring to it, Alan as the Scarecrow character is great casting and the zipper on the top of his skull where his brain was removed was a cool idea, the Tin Man being held hostage in this sort of old diving suit forced to watch a movie of his family tortured was a great plot idea.

Things I don't like: Tin Man's past is confusing, Dorothy's name in this is D.G. and after hearing it twice gets old, the Lion character, Raw, is somewhat cool but also somewhat dumb looking, and he really didn't do much, it felt like they tried to be as different as they could just for being different, not for adding it to tell a story. The story itself also just felt very confusing, as if the writers didn't really know what story they were telling, and some things were a bit predictable. It is pretty bad though, I couldn't sit through all of it when it first came on, same with the second part.

If you are curious though, check it out. I'd like to hear other people's opinions on it.

Today was another cold day. Possibly more snow this week.

You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but what do you do at Magic Kingdom? You said you are mostly outside?

Are you getting a lot of comics this week? I'm getting the new Wizard this week, comic wise I think one comes out, though next week is a big week for me. There's like 3 issues of Green Lantern coming out (GL #25, GL Corps #19 and a Sinestro Corps War/GL spin off book Ion #1).

Where do I work? Well I would rather not diverge the area because what I do is pretty unique.

Comics? Lets see... Buffy, Countdown Arena, Countdown, Infinity Inc, Justice League, Justice Society, MAYBE Justice League Unlimited if it's a good story, Robin, Supergirl, Maybe Wizard.

Do you know when Chuck Dixon will be taking over for Robin? Is it this month or sometime next year? I think I'm going to check out that book again when he starts writing.

I do wish he would write Nightwing again with Scott McDaniels back on art. I'm going to try and get those trades they put out of that run when the two of them were on together.

Your job sounds mysterious. Very cool!

Do you buy trades as well as the single issues of story lines? I usually buy the issues first and then get the trades later. I have all the ones for Fables and I think if I like Y The Last Man I'll get the rest of the run as trades and same with Sandman.

Chuck Dixon is on Robin after the Ghul storyline. I believe he starts in January. I sometimes get trades but usually when I don't have the single issues of the storys. I have all the Jeff Loeb Superman/Batman issues in Trade. And can I say they are soooo good!

Loeb's run on Batman/Superman was brilliant. I loved when Mike Tuner did the Supergirl arc. That man draws Batman the coolest! I was very sad when he left.

I only got the new Wizard and issue of Invincible this week. Very light. Next week will be a bit heavier with a few issues of Green Lantern coming out.

Since this week was light I can maybe work my way through the pile of comics I have growing.

Was Wizard worth buying this week? I didn't go get my comics yet.

Honestly, I don't know yet. I bought it but haven't read it yet. I'll read it on lunch today at work. This is the movie issue, so mostly it will be regarding any comic movies or things like that.

Wizard is a good magazine, but I admit, they have had issues where you think to yourself you could have skipped buying it that month since their coverage wasn't too good.

I enjoyd the Justice Society America Classified issue that was about Green Lantern. I need to get the next issue to see what happens next.

It usually takes me a month to get around catching up to the wizard I have anyways. I'll probably only get it if I like the cover LOL.

I don't read JSA Classified :(. I do however get JLA :) :)

The new Wizard has Heath Ledger as the Joker on the cover. There's supposed to be a big write up of on the new Batman movie coming out.

Ohhhhh That I might have to pick up :)

I'm so tired tonight. I don't know why either cause I got NOTHING done tonight :(. I hope I'm not getting sick again. That would really suck.

I will let you know how my comics are when I get them tomorrow :). I have a busy day. I have tons of chore type things and errands to run :( I hope I have time to pick up my comics.

I hope you are feeling better.

I went to Barnes & Nobles today to get the newest issues of Star Wars Insider and Tomarts Disneyana. While there I was checking out the graphic novels. I almost bought all 10 trades of Neil Gaiman's Sandman, but they were missing trade #5 and I just couldn't have that. So, I am waiting to buy them all at once when I see them all together. I was then going to get all the trades to go with the first one I got for Y: The Last Man, but they only had two trades, numbers 1 and another, but they didn't have them all, so, again, I didn't get them.

It's freezing up here and icy. But, the weekend is here so I can get some time to do some chores and errands of my own. We've had snow a few times but nothing major.

I haven't been able to buy any trades lately. Spending too much on my monthlys. I keep thinking I should cut them off but I haven't yet. It's stupid... I know.

No, it's not stupid, I am in the same situation. Come January I want to collect just the books I really love. It's hard though cause there are so many books I enjoy.

There are some books I only read as trades though, which might make it easier to cut back, but waiting for trades to come out is what is the killer.

Maybe I should get most in trades? I'm not sure. I'm not patient enough.

I'm so glad you said that! LOL I feel the same way. I want the story in trade form (it's easier to store and read, not having to worry where all the seperate issues are) but I just can't wait months until a story ends.

Trades a great way to get caught up on a story that is way into a run. I am doing that with Y: The Last Man and Sandman. I bought the first 3 trades (the Ultimate ones) for Invincible, and now will collect it monthly, though I will also get the trades for it when it comes out and give the issues to my cast member friend down in FL eventually. I do that a lot for him, send him either comics I get in trades or ones I don't want. He's a Superman fan so I also go through the dollar bins at my comic shops and pull tons of Superman books for him, usually ones he doesn't have.

A friend of mine and I were just having this trade discussion. He is going to go the trade route while I am in the same boat as you.

I've been meaning to ask. Are you are bigger DC fan or Marvel? Me, I'm a DC guy. I do appreciate some Marvel books, I love Spider-man, Thor and Mark Millar's work on The Ultimates and Ultimate X-men. Brian Michael Bendis is also good, his Ultimate Spider-man is pretty good. However, the only Marvel book I buy monthly is Thor.

I'm much more a DC girl then a Marvel anything. The only things I get from Marvel are Loners, Runaways and Anita Blake. Since the Loners mini has ended I dont' even get that anymore LOL.

I'm a HUGE Superman fan. I collect anything that is superman :) :).

How was Loners? Is Darkhawk in the Loners book? Is it just a mini series or a regular series?

I have a twin sister who is a big Superman fan as well. She collects stuff of him. She sent me a postcard from the Superman mueseum in Metropolis. I think to rub it in she was there and I wasn't! She has the S shield as a tattoo on her back.

She actually worked at Disney during a college program. She was a lifeguard at Yacht and Beach Club.
