Its all about $$$$$. I get the channel and i dont watch it because it doesnt appeal to me. It appeals to a very select segment of viewers. And with such a narrow segment of viewers, its going to be hard to get advertisers.

Its all simple economics. No viewers, no advertisers, no money, no shows. Simple.

sony, microsoft, and nintendo will dump a lot of dough into that channel. Not to mention all the video game companies which i dont know any of

Grrrr, I loved Screensavers. That and X-play are the best shows on that channel, in my opinion. Grrrr.

Ya know I may be the only person here who thinks this but G4 was a great channel by itself. It didnt need to join TechTV for whatever reason it did. TechTV just took away from G4's appeal. Gee, Fired? Or, Quit? I Just Can't Imagine The Fact Of Their Most Popular Shows Be Canceled.. I Bet They Were Thinking Of Hiring Some Other People To Host Them, But I Also Bet Many Of The Fans Would Just Hate That Idea..

(wait, this is just like the 'arena' thing back when g4 was by itself.. i loved the old hosts of arena, then one of them quit (or fired, forgot) for something, and the other host left as well, thus having to hire new hosts and making the old arena fans angry.. but yet, we all just live our lives now and forgot all about it..)

G4 couldn't get on DirectTV or Dish Network (partly because they are owned by Comcast) so they bought TechTV, pretended for a few months that it was a "merge", and are now dropping most everything associated with TechTV. Including, from what I've heard, the "TechTV" part of the name.

Let me get this straight...

They get rid of "The Screensavers" so they can replay 550 biliion episodes of "Cheat." Honestly, the only show that I like is X-play (that's left).

Cheat, Sweat, Players are all pretty much worthless. Why do I need to watch a show that just lists video game codes? STUPID!

At least Morgan Webb remains employed...
