Hmm... I voted #3... This rumor, while preserving and building upon education mixed with entertainment, and providing for different age groups, from the kiddies (Jr. Autopia) to more thrill-seeking adults (MS) and everyone (Soarin', the maze), just seems much, much too radical an approach. I think there are different, and personally, better concepts that could/should be explored without having to tear down parts of the Innoventions buildings or closing off one side of traffice underneath the Geosphere (Formerly Called Spaceship Earth) or totally ripping out the pathways in FW/DSCVLND and creating a lush setting... I think that if Disney focused more on Quality in the already exisitng attractions/pavilions, like TLS, and just updated the pavilions themselves rather than the whole Park, then that would be a good route to explore... Because in making all these cosmetic changes, like ripping down pathways, adding trees, tearing down Innoventions, etc., Disney has to spend a little more money in creating an atmosphere, the current atmosphere being just dandy and perhaps Best already as it is... So, I say, Disney! Work with what you have already got. Do things one step at a time. Add something of interest, both "Fun!" and "Educational", to TLS... Add a Soarin' simulator in back of TL, rename the Electric Umbrella the "Internet Cafe" and do a little change of decor... But please, PLEASE! Don't destroy Epcot how it is, or certainly not EPCOT how it was... I think we all generally see this concept as being one of potential and one of Purpose. However, it is just much, much too radical to be put in a Park with such a distinguished Purpose as Epcot. Discoveryland? If we wanted Discoveryland we would go to Disneyland Paris! All I can say is that there are other possibilities and concepts Disney should explore, because frankly this approach is much too irreversible.
