No
But, What makes it stand out is voice actor Jim Cummings at the end of both versions of the pre shows..
I went on that ride so many times when it still had the Outer Limits theme and never connected that the voiceover was Cummings until reading your post... but yeah, you're totally right! That preshow/queue was pretty solid for a non-Disney/Universal park!

Ah, the "sorry Chapek publicly insulted you for demanding Disney abide by its contract so here's a producer gig hoping you won't continue to sue us" job.

???

Johansson was named a producer on the Tower of Terror film in June 2021:

She didn’t sue Disney until the following month (July), after she was already a producer on ToT, and even said at the time she wasn’t holding a “grudge”:

The lawsuit was settled in late September.

So, her role as a producer on ToT preceded her lawsuit, and she remained a producer during and after the lawsuit, and apparently remains a producer today.

In sum, her role preexisted the lawsuit, and your continued argument that it was a payoff for dropping the lawsuit or not bringing another lawsuit makes no sense.

Timeline of Scarlett Johansson's Dispute with Disney Over "Black Widow" Residuals

Background and Lawsuit Initiation
  • Scarlett Johansson's contract for Black Widow was structured around an exclusive theatrical release, with her compensation tied heavily to box office performance5.
  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney postponed the film several times before ultimately releasing it simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+ (Premier Access) on July 9, 20215.
  • On July 29, 2021, Johansson filed a lawsuit against Disney, alleging that the dual release strategy breached her contract and cost her significant back-end compensation—reportedly over $50 million352.

Public Dispute and Negotiations
  • The lawsuit sparked significant industry debate about talent compensation in the streaming era. Disney publicly responded, denying the claims and defending their actions35.
  • Johansson and her team argued that Disney's decision to release the film on Disney+ without renegotiating her contract was unfair, especially given that similar deals had been made for other stars in the industry25.

Settlement and Resolution
  • After about two months of public and legal back-and-forth, the dispute was resolved out of court. The settlement was announced on September 30, 20218769.
  • The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but reports suggested Johansson received a payout, possibly in excess of $40 million, though less than the $50 million initially sought8.
  • Both Johansson and Disney issued statements expressing satisfaction with the resolution and a desire to continue their professional relationship861.

Producer Role on Tower of Terror
  • Concurrent with the settlement announcement, Disney confirmed that Scarlett Johansson would star in and produce a new film based on the "Tower of Terror" theme park attraction6189.
  • This offer was publicly referenced as part of the ongoing collaboration between Johansson and Disney following the lawsuit's resolution168.

Cool. You and your AI program of choice don’t seem to understand or acknowledge her role as a ToT producer was announced in June, weeks before she filed her lawsuit. There’s a thread in this very forum time-stamped June 23, 2021.
