Why?? All you would have to do is put RFID tags in all of the new AP's going out and just phase it in, shouldnt be a big deal, I would think. Belle

I would think the RF chip would be better protected in the hard plastic of the standard KTTK type than the softer AP media.

While I may not disagree, the idea of having an AP on the plastic is a discussion that has been worn out. If you do a search I am sure you could find a ton of threads on this one alone. Belle

I read that they were doing this (on another site) at animal kingdom this week. It sounds good at first but then you start thinking about it and then you start seeing the down side(tickets running out, only allowed one set of passes for each ride:o)

and how about having to stand in line for 40 minutes+ just to get your fastpasses. :lol:

the RFID sounds a little scary and just another way for them to control their patrons to me. don't get me wrong i LOVE disney, but i think they are a LITTLE controlling in some things. i dunno. that's just me.
