"Future Fastpass" for too short child

Kind of makes me wonder if a scanner and a good color laser printer are involved.
This could be what is happening, but they seemed legit. They are on a heavy card stock and the print quality is very good.
Am I missing where it actually says it is a fastpass? It seems it is just a card that saysvthe child will be able to ride in the future...more like a souvenier of their first ride...they add the date.
Yay, I wondered about this too since as you point out, there is nothing on the card that actually says it acts as a fastpass. However, the man who sent the family these cards said that it how they work and a couple others on this thread who have been lucky enough to be given these, have also said they were told they would be allowed to use as fp for the family.

Many attractions have them but dont give them out too often. Just when a child is a little bummed of being too short not when an adult is making a scene over a height situation.

Here is a picture of all the cards. Love these things when I take my little sister. I believe there is one for Mission Space as well, just never had the need for that one.

Around 2010 or 2011 my daughter was too short to ride Space Mountain and got visibility upset (IIRC she was crying) so the CM gave her a card for the next visit. Totally legit.

"here princess, when you bring your parents back next year and your taller you can use this fast pass to take 6 family members on your first ride with you"
That would be so awkward if your family could not afford to go yearly.
Are they dated? My last two WDW troops were seven years apart.

No they are not dated. I actually purchase these off ebay when I go. There are no dates on them anywhere. Typically the castmembers take them and keep them. But there is a line on the back where they are supposed to write the date that it was used. I think they say the "next year" thing for the child's sake.

Why do you purchase them? Are you using these to cut the lines? If you are people wonder why the parks stop doing small gestures like this...

Judging from the fact that he still has them and is a part of this site, I'd say that he's collecting them.

I've never seen those before, but that's really neat. Those are one of those little things that make me think of Disney. You better tell them to hurry up and use the Splash fast pass though.
