Fur characters that should be face characters?

Basically, some of the human (or at least humanoid) characters, like many of the villains or most of the Pixar gang, are done like Mickey and Donald and such. But are there any that you think would be better as a face character? Mad Hatter and the Stepsisters were originally like that too, if I'm not mistaken, and they got upgraded to face status (which is good, as they're great to interact with).

Personally, I'd go with Frollo, partly because Tony Jay's performance was just so delightfully villainous that it seems a shame Frollo in the parks can't speak, and partly because his head is just too darn big for me to take seriously. Frozone would be a good choice as well.

I agree, pretty much any human character should be face. All the Incredibles, not just Frozone, Captain Hook and Smee (They are face in Dream-Along, but nowhere else!) Hades like he was at Villains night! Genie should be transitioning to how he is in the California show. Beast should appear in his human for at Disney World, something he hasn't done for many years. I don't understand why they don't allow for incredible interactions with these characters!

All humanoid characters. I think a live Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger (not a giant contemporary toy) would be a fun interaction. And I'd even want to go further to better match physique. Mr. Incredible's muscles should be real, not padding.

Well, that could be difficult.

I agree that the face versions of Hook and Smee should be regulars. They look so much better. Pretty much all the humanoid characters in masks creep me out. Jessie just looks like some kind of nightmare.

I don't know there are just some voices that can not be duplicated. I mean Tim Allen as Buzz, it would be weird hearing a voice close to be not like Allen's talking

I have to agree that the characters that are human should become face characters. This is Disney we're talking about here... They can span the globe to find the people to fit the bill.

Woody, Jessie, Buzz, The Incredibles, etc... With Buzz you could even go to the point of making the spacesuit work like it does in the movies. Woody and Jessie would be able to do more interactive things besides M&G's and parades...

Good topic.

I have to say Patrick Warburton did a good voice of Buzz during The Animated series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. But, Stephen Stanton is the Secondary voice that's used when Tim Allen isn't available..http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/characters/Toy-Story/Buzz-Lightyear/
Thats great for the series and other movies, but how many guys would be able to copy Tim Allen voice. Face to Face. I am not sure there are enough guys who would meet all the requirements, which means he would be out less then he is now.

Me I would rather have the character's as they are then hear my daughter say "You don't sound like Buzz your not the real Buzz"

I actually don't know if I would like having the toy story meet and greet characters as face characters. It would be kind of weird for me knowing that they are supposed be toys, yet they look just like humans in a human world. Yes, I realized they are in giant costumes, but there is still some imagination that they are toys when they aren't dressed in normal clothes.

Now, just thinking out loud about it, toy story face characters may work for me if there was some sort of special area you could go to meet them where you could pretend like you are walking into the "toy universe" and they aren't mixed in the same meet and greet area as Merida, for example, who is an actual human.

I think Captain Hook should be a face character, too. Then maybe he can interact with Peter Pan if they do meet-n-greets together. Here's how he looks right now:

In fact, he is a face character during live park shows and ice shows:

Maybe Captain Hook could look like in the second picture below (from an ice show). I read that Hook (the non-face character) has a significant nose and chin. I think that can be easily fixed. Then, as I said before, he can interact with Peter Pan if they are seen together, like what Alice and the Mad Hatter do when they appear together.
