(I hope this doesn't get me banned)
I have Rogers Cable in Ontario. Their on-screen programming guide is littered with errors on a regular basis, but tonight they've got a wing-ding. City-TV Winnipeg is showing 1999's Mystery Men starring Ben Stiller and Janeane Garofalo. But the on-screen programming guide lists a 2002 NC-17 (gay ) movie also titled Mystery Men with an all-male cast about a Peruvian mystic - oh, never mind. And it's kind of funny too that it's on after "Smallville."
Anyway, I imagine there'll be a few disappointed viewers who tune in only to find Ben and Janeane acting silly. I wonder where Rogers gets their listings from and if anybody ever bothers to double check them. As I said before, errors are common, especially confusing movies of the same name. But this is the best one (or worst one) yet.
