Now I can start putting things in a tub for the trip. I don't want to pack as much as last time, because we waay overdid it. But keeping the kids occupied for a day and a half of driving is a priority. :brick:

Not 2 days! It makes a lot too, so you can freeze them for dinner later. they last for a few months that way.

I did that on our trip in 02. Way over packed for it. Our trip in 05 wasn't as bad but it was still bad. I hope next yr won't be bad at all.:lookaroun

I have no choice - because of Mike. Actually, the drive is quite pretty through Va. and NC. SC is what drives us nutso, going from west to east across the state...and by the time we get to 95, all we want to do is get to Disney! :lol: But I'm hoping to do most of it on a Saturday, and get to All-Stars by Sunday afternoon.

16-18 hours, not including hotel time, potty stops, eating, etc. That's what they invented travel DVD players for.

We drive depending on how long we drive per day. We usually take 2 days to get there.

see above ^^ I know y'all think I'm nuts, but I'm really looking forward to it. Some of my best conversations with DH happen while driving.
