Been busy, and now it's getting hot & humid.
VBS starts tomorrow, and I just found out this morning that instead of having a nice small class of 4 4-year-olds, they've combined my group with the next older group, so now I have 10 4 - 6 year olds.

I know them all well, since I had most of them in the pre-school class before, and therein lies the problem. I'm pretty much on my own with the little ones as far as following any curriculum. We water down the Bible verses to something they can handle ("God is good"), we help a lot with crafts, and at the end of the day, we go to our special room and play while everyone else wraps up their day in the sanctuary with the pastor. Now that I also have older kids, I'm assuming they'll have to do more, and I won't have as much fun with them....
