Rant time.

So my sister's having a going-away party of sorts with all her friends tonight (a good chunk of them will have left by the time she does, so she's getting it in early). While she went to the store, she wanted me to take the pool cover off.

So I check the radar... everything's going south of us in a little spin-off line from the main front. O.K., so I'll go outside and do that now.

Within 3 minutes, a cavalcade of water comes down for the entire (and ONLY) 10 minutes I was struggling with the now waterlogged pool cover.

...I'm just south of the first "t" in Detroit. This is what happens when you depend on your own judgment for longer than 5 minutes. :lol:
