OMG OMG OMG! I am so ecstatic right now! One of my concerns about going to Orlando was that I didn't have any really close friends here. I know a few people (mainly Magic friends) but none I would consider really close. This morning, a friend of mine from Boston told me she's planning to move to Orlando this summer! She told me she wanted to do it and saw opportunity there and now feels really comfortable moving there knowing I'll be there. OMG, we've known each other since we were 19! We were both mermaids! She's gonna try to work PT at WDW. I'm gonna have someone to hang out with! :sohappy:

Poo - I missed saying ' bye' to Luke and bid him welcome to the Buckeye State! :D Orientation can be nerve-wracking, but also very exciting.

I just changed DD's wrapping - it wasn't wrapped tight enough I guess. I'm going to have to buy stock in gauze wrap. It's doesn't look as read but it's still ugly, about 9 stitches on the surface.....sigh.

I had a dream about packing for the trip this week and I got to the airport and realized I forgot some really important stuff. So I'm opening my suitcase to make sure I really forgot it and panicking because there was no way I could go back home. :brick:

Good morning Fishy! Did you have a nice trip yesterday?
It was ............ different anyway. I love my sister dearly but her husband is a real schmuk, so I had to bite my tongue a lot. Then my other sister (The one who lives in FL) was there too, and she's another whole can of worms (she thinks she's allergic to everything, so no matter what you have, well, she really shouldn't eat that (but she does!) My oldest brother was there too, who's 63 going on 99. Ahhhh family!!!

:ROFLOL: :ROFLOL: It can be....entertaining at times. Of course some of our best stories come from someone we used to know in college. One of Mike's housemates made a cake w/ bananas in it, and another housemate took a little bit of icing and asked what kind of cake it was. Upon learning there was bananas in it, he started freaking out and saying he's allergic to bananas and he can feel his throat starting to close.....but there weren't any bananas in the icing. Of course this is the same guy that said he had 'cigar' cell anemia. :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL:

Yeah my sister is a real trip. When she retired and moved to FL she instantly turned into an old lady. I swear she looks 20 years older than me (she's actually only 2), she wears a sweater everywhere, and constantly discusses her "digestive problems". Funny how it took her that long to develop all these "allergies"!

See, in all seriousness, my eldest is a worrier. Way too much for her age. She doesn't talk about stuff during the day, she waits till bedtime to confide all her stresses in life. She can NEVER let things go. Now she is panicking about church camp, because her aunt won't be working in the kitchen this year, and that was the closest she had to having family with her, and what if she can't make any friends, etc. etc. All pretty typical stuff, but she does this ALL THE TIME and doesn't fall asleep till early morning sometimes, complains about stomach aches (only at night). We tell her the same things to help her relax, but she refuses to let them help her. We are seriously at the point of :brick: :brick: :brick: .

I'm the worrier, but not to that extreme. I'm the organizer of the family, and I spend way too much time trying to please everyone.
The joys of coming from a big family!

Hello all... just checking in. Marc and I are furiously at work this weekend, getting a lot of loose ends tied up around the house. We've crossed a lot of stuff off the to do list, and are being very productive.

Sorry to dash in and out, but I've got more cleaning to do before Marc starts playing with the breaker box again.

Hope everyone is well!

I'll be seeing HP5 in IMAX on Thursday! :D

I will wait till they come out on DVD. :zipit:

*waits for the thump on the head*

Thanks I needed that.

OT 30 yrs ago today Bob asked me to marry him.

Awww, that's so cute.

Stopping by to say hi! This is my last night with my family. They fly back to Philly tomorrow. :(

That is sad.

I hope to finish a lot of my moving in on the 14th so that the 15th can be my first day at Disney. I really need to see my castle.

Yay!!

Hello
I was 40 when I had my youngest.

My mom was 44 when she had my 2nd-youngest brother.

I kinda just wanna get settled in. There's so much to do right now.

I bet.

Good morning to you too.

I am. We're leaving here pretty soon to head to a pretty big arts and crafts fair around these parts, then heading out to Columbus. I'm still really nervous about orientation.

Good luck Luke.

I just got back here myself - had to start some laundry. How's your weekend?
Hi Jenny!!! :D

It's been lonely...I miss WHF.

Friday I went out to a pizza place and ate dinner by myself. (Taking HP4 with me) Then I went to see Ratatullie (sp?) with my mom. I did not think it was Pixar's best film. I have liked so many more better than this one. Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Cars. This one was just ok in my book. And there was one scene that jumped forward in time like a lot and I was like...whoa...did they cut something there. It felt really jarred there and I think that kind of did something to my enjoyment of the movie.

Then yesterday, I had a wedding. What was nice though was that it was an early wedding...so I was done by 4:30. So I came home and watched some Tv. Then I went out to eat again by myself (bringing HP4 with me again, which I have finally finished...lots of things I forgot that they didn't include in the movie...especially at the end. Re-reading it made me like it slightly better.)

Then today, I have plans to go to the casino with my grandma. Since she hasn't been in a while. :D

How are you?

Which part was that? I actually liked it a lot, although it was hard for me sometimes to follow the conversation with the french accent and all. I thought the artistic aspect of the film showed Pixar's continuing emphasis on detail.
When does WHF get back? I think I would welcome a few days of quiet, but I'm coming from kids in the house. And after the whole debacle with Abby's leg (did you know about that?), I'm ready for our trip east at the end of the week. :D
