Yeah, I know  - but it's either that or spring break  . Abby's going to miss four days this fall, so I have to pick a holiday for our mom/daughter trip. And January is value season. Comes down to the pocketbook I'm afraid.

I hear ya! Mine is quite empty lately.

We've gone for Spring Break/Easter the last few years because Em is too old to miss too many days (she is starting 8th grade this year).

What is funny is the Katie will be coming north for Spring Break while everyone is heading south because the kid's breaks don't line up. :brick:

I guess I thought you had two out of school.:o

My oldest DD is in 8th grade this yr.
my middle DD is in 6th
My youngest is in 4th :hammer:

Can't wait for them to be out of school, I may just have a little extra money then... the cost of supplies is killing me, though Katie has bought most of her own "extras" and we have paid for her books. Thank God for grants and scholarships!

Good for him! :sohappy:

Katie is working on a BS in Sports Management and is transferring to UT in January. We said we would pay for 2 years and the rest is on her. She is doing an internship (unpaid) and working in a store trying to save as much as she can...basically working 7 days a week until school starts back in. :(
