I am currently at Epcot, and I was seated for a showing of Awesome Plant when suddenly the entire Pavillon was evacuated.
Everything shut at once, and the entire building was emptied.

Anyone have insight into what is happening?
I’m assuming a fire drill…..or other related issue.

There is a 50 minute wait at the Imagination Attraction right now….wow, have not seen that since the Epcot 25th event !

Hope to hear from someone about what is happening at Epcot right now.
Thanks in advance!

I will admit…I geeked out when led backstage.
Had a really great tour!

I've been there for one of these as well. Likely just a smoke alarm. This and Mexico are a couple of the most difficult pavilions to evacuate due to the limited public exit points and the depth of the building. (There are fire exits--but everyone is just going to head to the escalators and the front exits, which are small.) So it's likely just an extra precaution.

I can't imagine any of the pavilions does any sort of fire drill or fire alarm testing during the day while it is occupied by guests so you can be assured that if an alarm is going off, something triggered it.
