My daughter is in EPCOT as I type this (having a blast, hardly any crowds), my neighbor is going to WDW for 8 days starting tomorrow and I am home, getting phone calls and postcards from everyone telling me what a great time they are having. :( I don't even have a trip planned for this year, although I am scheming to make one happen so it is a possibility however, not a sure thing. I am happy for those that are there, just sad it is not me. I knew you all would understand.

I second the make a trip. Then call in to work and say you have a severe case of Disneyitis, in fact its going around and is very contagious-as proven by your daughter and neighbor who currently have it-so you don't think you'll be in for at least a week.

Problem solved.

:ROFLOL::ROFLOL:Very tempting, I am so close to saying to work...."take this job and shove it" anyway, but then I get the whole "hafta to pay the bills" reality that sets in :hurl:, too responsible, that is me.....I am going to continue scheming and plotting and I will eventually get my way.

Been there. Just start planning a trip for next year.

Remind yourself it is summer, thus crazy hot and crazy crowded down there. Then start planning a trip during a quieter and cooler time of the year.

I LOVE going to WDW, but would never want to do it in July.

Yeah and it is raining a lot too....you're right, I would much rather go in September or October but, wait..... I don't even have a trip planned for then! Crud. :)

I suppose then you don't want to know that I'm going in four days? :)

I agree with everyone- plan a trip or at least you could plan a trip you could go on. Plan what meals you would eat this moment or what stores you would go in. Or that might make your Disneyitis worse? :goodnevil

I am always looking at travel deals and daydreaming about trips, sometimes to WDW and other times just plain old regular trips to places I love or places I would love to see. It frustrates my husband because he never plans a trip he can't take and I plan trips I can't take. My theory is this, what if a deal came by and I didn't know it was a deal? So, I daydream and figure one day when the kids are finally thru with college, we may have some of our disposable income back to dispose of (so to speak) and I will have a good idea of where I want to go and what I have to see when I get there. DH will apparently come along for the ride....

Have a great trip, think of those of us who can't go right now and you will instantly enjoy your trip that much more! Oh yeah, a coworker just told me today that she just got her MNSSHP tickets in the mail, just what I needed to hear. The kicker....she is going on my wedding anniversary and I am not. Blah.
