Frozen Summer Fun 2015

I hear the WDW Zoo is Frozen free.
Until the arctic animals arrive. No date has been given as the imagineers are having a little bit of trouble imagining up a way to keep glaciers at 0° C in FL.

Side note, and perhaps more along the lines you were thinking of, they asked Elsa if she could help out by refreezing the glacier every morning, at which point she threw an "I'm not paid overtime" tantrum and stormed off leaving the conference room under 4' of snow.

I bought tickets to the premium package... and after calling & paying the large amount of $ for this, the woman explained that these are "reservations" however they do not allow you to actually reserve the time slots until the day you go at 9:30 AM... AND then the reservations are first come, first serve.

So I cannot actually plan on which sing along show I will get or where/when the reserved seating/standing is for the parade/fireworks. I must say that I am really frustrated and completely reconsidering if I should cancel my "reservations". I don't really understand what you are paying for (aside from the drinks/snacks that come with the parade/fireworks).

I am going to Hollywood Studio's on 7/6/15 (which is the extra hours day) so it will most likely be packed. Do you think the reserved standing/seating areas are worth it?

Does anyone have any details about when the parade starts & where the standing areas are? I've heard on here that there are 2 parades, with the first one being at 11. However, the website says be the event starts at 10:30?

Or when the fireworks show starts and where the seating areas are? The website says the event starts at 8:15? This fireworks show is different than the Fantasmic show right? Is there time to see both?

I have no pictures but on the night of May 27 after park close while I was waiting for my bus at Hollywood Studios I could see a new float that resembled Elsa's ice palace being driven backstage behind Indiana Jones and that area. It wasn't a huge extravagant float but it was nice to see that they won't just be re-using the mirrored castle float.

Anyone have anymore info on that float mm522 saw?

And if they don't offer Olaf for meet and greets, they're just dumb .... and why aren't they? I don't understand their thinking behind meet and greets. Are they afraid he'll be TOO popular?

Elsa's got a new float. I don't know anything more than that. I've seen it & it's beautiful.

No Olaf meet & greets, but he will have his stage show throughout the day, as well as be in the processional.

Don't cancel your reservation as if used correctly many praise this event, but I will give you a little advice. The check in time listed is late to what time you may actually check-in. Often times they're set up at 9:00 or earlier and ready for check-in. At that point you're able to pick your show time with hardly any issues because there should be plenty of each time slot open. Showtimes typically don't start running out till the 10:00 mark.

There is a large area roped off for both the parade and fireworks just for package guests. The area will be the same for both morning and evening events. And again when checking-in in the morning for your reservation I would ask the host what the recommended arrival time to your reserved area is and follow their suggestions. Opening for parade viewing area may occur 15-30 minutes early prior to 10:30, depending on the day. Package guests will have a reserved section for the 11:00 parade. The typical opening time for fireworks is 8:00 not 8:15. Often times the people on the phone know little about how the event runs, your check-in host(s) will give you all the inside scoop. And checking-in doesn't mean you must stick around till the event starts, it simply entails picking up your credentials and selecting your showtime. And finally yes it is very possible to do both Fantasmic and the fireworks you'll just have to see the second showing of Fantasmic.

Wow, thank you for this information. I would have expected the fire works to be AFTER the first showing of Fantasmic... so that's good to know!!!

Technically the fireworks are after the first show of Fantasmic but the premium package gets you time before the fireworks begin, which runs into conflict with the first Fantasmic.
