There is nothing wrong with putting character based attractions in the countries so long as the country does not get changed.

It does if the characters don't have anything to do with that country....There is nothing wrong with putting character based attractions in the countries so long as the country does not get changed.
I remember when Disney animators on the tour proudly said they thought "Brother Bear" would be embraced by audiences, and Koda would be "the next Great Disney Character", unquote.
One tend to ignore such statements as either extreme bias, or whistling in the graveyard.
Fact was, "Snow Queen", like Tangled, Bolt and Ralph, had been cleanup projects from the Eisner era, and this one had been through so many failed storylines, it was considered "unfilmable", and they were just rushing out the best version they thought they could be done, and hoped for comparisons with Tangled.
They DID NOT expect audiences to "get it", let alone that it would suddenly have its BO numbers artificially hyped by gay and female audiences seeing a different movie in it that they wanted to see.
Yes, like, why didn't he stand up at the big promotional event LAST MONTH and tell us they were building it, to go along with barely any new concept art for Avatar Land, an even less-requested attraction even farther away, and more Animal Kingdom promotion?
Gullible folks, for convenience, take your pick of the following bend-the-facts-to-fit-the-theory excuses to save time:
1) "Well, that was back then!"
2) "He probably didn't want us to know about it, because he knew we would be upset!"
3) "It's probably only the tip of a bigger iceberg, and there's more heretical bulldozing in store!"
4) "Deep down, he knows we really don't like the movie, and just refuses to admit it!"
(I'll go with #5: Just because Tweety-Bird may...MAY...have seen some concept art on somebody's desk, just like his attention-starved fantasy world wants us to believe he has, that doesn't make it any more real than the "Rainforest ride in The Land", "Little Mermaid makeover of Living Seas", or "Rollercoaster makeover of Spaceship Earth, with track continuing on the outside" we didn't get ten years ago either, even though Jim Hill thought he was such a clever little scout for discovering from his Animation Guild Blog "insiders".
Right now, we're Believing What Our Fears Want to Believe, and, ohh, there's bad moons rising when that happens...)
I'm with you on that one. Court order if necessary.
Yes. I'm trolling for saying "Where is the PROOF that something we're all so angry about actually exists?", and "Maybe we should think before we get upset."
Naughty me. Smackie-handies.

No, you're just banging your own personal drum to the same beat, over and over and over again. That's the trolling....Yes. Homie, this is a "news & rumors" board - note the inclusion of rumors. It's where rumors are spread, and emoted upon in accordance.
Which planned attraction would be the stupidhead, then?
I really have no idea what you're on about now. Other than more of the same prattle....And then egotistically spread as Unassailable Fact, because someone with a little too much appreciation of himself says it should be, and we all cower under our beds accordingly, and attack those who AREN'T cowering from imaginary fears as "troublemakers" or "disloyal", or what have you.
A Rumor is "Might happen", News is "Already happening", and even the "source" got those a little too disingenuously confused to begin with.

Even if you're somehow ok with a ton of character overlays for EPCOT (which i'm most definitely not) and justify excuses with hypothetical scenarios cool and quality new rides regardless of how inappropriate they are, NO ONE should be ok with value engineered on the cheap versions of character rides shoved in to cash in on the kiddie market with not even a sense of quality to speak of. From what pheneix is saying, it sounds like we're getting a value engineered overlay. So we get a double dose of fail, both an inappropriate overlay and what sounds like one done on the cheap.
I'm currently thinking of all the horrors that could be inflicted upon the American Adventure now with the same people who are responsible for this overlay having run of the place...
Sounds like you have a personal issue with that poster, which is whatever, but I don't know if you know how Disney truly works. Things can be set in stone one

But I suppose your word should be taken at full face value....Still, in the immortal words of Phil, I got two words for ya:
WHERE'S

PROOF?
(And no, "Oh, you'll get your proof soon enough these coming months, just wait and see with my next new news update!" will not be accepted as an answer.)

It's a shame they feel they have to shoehorn Frozen into Epcot when it could seriously turn DHS into more of a park. A show, a ride, a gift shop, a frozen treats stand with a signature drink and a meet and greet and watch how quickly the numbers go up. Sure the popularity will cool down in a while but if you have Star Wars as the next big thing, DHS could finally be an awesome park. But instead the solution is to further screw up Epcot.
...sigh.
