What if they even took the scene from GMR and had her rising out of one of the Britain rooftops? not a full ride but something that would play randomly every 30 min or so...

I think it would be one of those nice Moments that really add to the experience

It's alright, location issue aside. AA's are pretty impressive. It's pretty weird seeing it shoehorned into Maelstrom's existing building and ride system but I guess with time that will leave people's minds as Maelstrom becomes history and not be an issue anymore.

Two issues I had was that it was disappointing that there's not really anything going on in the backwards portion of the ride, and that the Marshmallow seemed like kind of a missed opportunity. For one thing, why is he all smiling and happy? I only saw Frozen once but I remember him being a big, scary villain creature. It's cool that he breathes smoke like that (I hope that effect doesn't break in a month and is never seen again), but since the ride is lacking any kind of climactic, dangerous moment, they should have mounted the figure above the drop or something and had him lunge at you right before you dropped down to escape him.

I would be really interested to see a side-by-side comparison video of Maelstrom and the new ride.

That's actually a really good idea as Mary Poppins it's not like that type of up that's animated etc. Mary Poppins actually represent Britain pretty well, I was just in London and I think it would work. It would also give people a reason other than coming from the Epcot Resorts to go to that side of World Showcase. It'll probably be dependent on The Mary Poppins movie they're making.
