Frozen Ever After opening day

Very excited to see the puffins return - are there any other tributes to Maelstrom in the queue or attraction besides them and the troll tapestry in the meet and greet?
There's a three headed troll figurine like the giftshop trolls in Oaken's trading post in the queue. Also, apparently some of the runestones in front of the meet and greet were taken from the rockwalls of the original Maelstrom lifthill

I'm not denying there was over-saturation of the IP following its surprise popularity. I have a 3 year old daughter, trust me I know.

I'm calling out your contention that this over-saturation has lead to the current state of the IP, and thereby the response to the new ride. It's just as likely, if not more likely, that it's the fact the movie is almost 3 years old.
I spent around 4 hours with my 4 yr. old granddaughter. I actually spent more time with the Frozen figures then my own children when they were growing up. Don't tell me for a second that they aren't still popular and will remain that way for a few years.
The best of a bad situation, I guess. A track not designed around a real narrative now supports a ride that has something of a narrative (based on queue photos, we're invited to visit Elsa's ice palace for the first time?), with top notch production values.

I am sad for EPCOT but at least relieved it's not Little Mermaid part 2... production-wise. A technical showcase.

Let the capacity metrics begin! That's going to be reeeeeally interesting.
I know that the knee jerk reaction from the EPCOT Ctr. purist is to be sad, but, I feel that in all reality this is pumping life back into Epcot. Something that was very much needed. However, keep your fingers crossed perhaps the negative reports that may be generated about capacity will keep everyone happy.

Standing in line now. Disney Suit said that they are experiencing same failure as this morning and that they jumped the gun in thinking it was fixed. People are waiting because at one point they announced it was powering back on, then boats started cycling and we were told that problem was fixed and they had to run all the boats through once, but then it broke again during that run.

I think Epcot is a much better park than it was just a few years ago now that Test Track, Soarin, and Maelstrom received much needed updates. Spaceship Earth back in 08 was a stellar upgrade as well (wish I could say the same about the Three Caballeros ride but that one wasn't my favorite haha). Hopefully Universe of Energy & Imagination Pavilion are next. I would be so happy to see the entire Imagination area get bulldozed and a new attraction go there.

The yeti would like a word with you.

The Yeti is a special case... but you already knew that. Not excusing it's static state, but to just point to the Yeti alone is lazy argument.

The facts are that AAs are very complicated machines, and no place in the world has a more impressive collection of functioning AAs than WDW.

Do these AAs sometimes break down? Of course they do. It is inevitable. Do I wish they would build quality AAs more frequently than they have? Like everything else at WDW the past couple of decades, yes I wish they would give us more .Does anyone have a better track record with them than Disney? No way. I could go into detail, but I'm already way off-topic (Sorry!)

UoE and Imagination are due big time... most definitely. Put in a new 3D show in the imagination theater too or gut it and make it one big ride throughout the building.
