Are those figures all animatronics? Because they look really good if they are, much more effective than the Mine Train projection faces. Or are they just screens, in which case.... urgh.

however... I really felt like the last scene with Olaf singing the "summer" song did not flow very well or make any sense

Agreed, the last Olaf is simply amazing, Disney did a great job with this ride. Cant wait til September.
